Description:

Doleschallia bisaltide, commonly known as the Autumn Leaf, is a nymphalid butterfly found in India, also found in Australia where they are known as Leafwing. 75-78 mm wingspan.

Habitat:

Prefers thick evergreen forest at low elevations. Visit flowers. On wing from January to November. In the Himalaya, it flies up to 1030 m. Being closely related to Oakleaf butterflies, has very similar habits.
