Description:
Unique looking weevil. Reddish with yellow markings on the elytra. This species exhibits mandible sexual dimorphism. The females, like this one, have a long, slender beak with small mandibles on the tip, while males have enlarged mandibles for combat.
Habitat:
Suburban yard. Attracted to a blacklight.
