Description:

Turtle found after construction began to build an addition to our local hospital.

Habitat:

Originally a swampy environment located near where our local hospital was built.

Notes:

I believe it may be a type of snapping turtle.

Yes it has a good chance assuming it has places to hide from predators. They are very slow growers, they will be small for several years
Thanks for the response. It seemed pretty small for this time of year. My friend let it go in her pond. Does it have a good chance of surviving?
