Field Notes

Description:

Small brown caterpillar with lateral stripes. Body segements seem to flare a bit (see picture #2) in the mid section. Possibly same species as this: http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/190316198

Habitat:

Bayard Cutting Arboretum. Semi-wooded area near a brackish water source. Found in the flower of a Common Evening Primrose (Oenothera biennis).
