Field Notes

Habitat:

A retaining wall in a children's playground. Man made habitat. Very sparsely spread with only one or two in sight at a time in this area.

Notes:

The first image is daytime. The others are out of focus so the first is of the same species within a few feet to give clarity. The last image has a different size and shaped head. I do not know why. It could mean one is a worker and one a soldier perhaps.

That is what I was doing there, no idea what the ants were up to!
Ah.. children's playground... cleaning up the M&M's no doubt.
