Description:

The fox squirrel (or eastern fox squirrel, Bryant's fox squirrel) (Sciurus niger) is the largest species of tree squirrel native to North America. Despite the differences in size and coloration, they are sometimes mistaken for American Red Squirrels or Eastern Gray Squirrels in areas where both species co-exist

Habitat:

This squirrel was found in an urban area.

Notes:

It was chasing a pair of mallards away so it could have a drink.
