Description:

Pertenece al filo mollusca. Se caracteriza por presentar la cabeza formando un escudo cefálico aplanado o lobulado. La mayoría tienen una concha en espiral, frágil, externa o interna, libre o cubierta por el manto, a veces incluso ausente. Talla máx 3 cm. Herbívoro.

Habitat:

Aguas someras de la laguna salada del Mar Menor.
