Field Notes

Description:

A small cluster of about a dozen were found in dry sandy loam. Plant was about 280mm tall. Duck is about 20mm.

Habitat:

Beside a walking track in Langwarrin Flora and Fauna Reserve

Notes:

Not great photos but I've been hoping to see these for years. As is often the case they are much smaller than I imagined but every bit as cute. I notice on the national names database they have the common name 'Large Duck orchid' Ha! Now I want to see a small one. <br>
