Narrow-leaved mountain mint

A native member of the mint family, this herbaceous plant has the narrow leaves that the common name implies. It is widely distributed in the eastern half of the United States and Canada, and not confined to mountain regions. The dried wiry stems and flower heads can be used in dried flower arrangements.
