Description:

Large butterfly indeed. Orange-yellow, with many black spots on the upperside and Harry Potterish zigzag marks on top. The reverse of the wings is TOTALLY different. It has silvers stripes.

Habitat:

Flower garden (this one is on Tagetes, Marigold) at the resort in Borong,Sikkim.

Notes:

Butterflies of India by Arun Pratap Singh lists this as Childrena childreni (Gray) as does Wikipedia.
I do not know which synonym is currently in use.
