Field Notes

Description:

This small and colourful moth is near impossible to spot as it sits on a colourful piece of cloth that decorates the door to my room at the resort. Is red a rare colour in moths?

Habitat:

Resort at Borong, Sikkim. Lush vegetation all around but that is green...the moth would stand out. No wonder it chose to blend in.

Notes:

The first picture was auto-corrected just to see how much more vivid the colours could be!
