Field Notes

Description:

This butterfly had a wingspan of around 2 inches, and it's body was around 2.5 inches long. It's wings were orange, with lines running up them, and the underside of it's wings were brown. It was flying around one area only, and never flew for more than 20 seconds.

Habitat:

Very, very near a conservatory, in a public park.
