Field Notes

Description:

This small moth had a mottled appearance. There were about four distinct markings on the fore wings and a thin but smudged line bordering the submarginal area. Labial palps were short but pointed. <br>
Antennae were held under the wings.

Habitat:

Spotted under bright lights on a wall. Near a national park.

Notes:

Looking for an ID.

Thanks for the suggestion. Mine has long labial palps which is absent in the suggested species. Also, there is a good overlap of the hind wings with the thin white submarginal border continuing unbroken. But will keep checking.
This is possibly a Geometrid moth - Ennominae - Nacophorini sp. Needs further researcch.
