Field Notes

Description:

Cup or bowl shaped nest of mud and tree bark. Robin nest? The nest was built on top of a broken aspen snag and a leaning snag.

Habitat:

Small mature aspen stand. Surrounding vegetation types were sagebrush, Douglas fir, bristlecone pine, and lodgepole.
