Field Notes

Description:

Smallish bird; chin, chest and belly is a dirty white. Back is largely grey. Slim, pointed beak.

Habitat:

Patiently sitting on an electric wire as we approached it down the hilly road at Borong, Sikkim. I was thankful that it was sitting in the open and that it did not fly away as I came nearer and pointed the camera at it.

Notes:

The male is equally photogenic (black and white) and equally patient.
