This beetle appear to be black and shiny under normal torch light. When camera flash over, its back becomes shiny (gold).

Hi Bayucca, thanks for the info.. i think is Darkling beetle. .. all photos taken with flash :)
It is indeed a jewel, however, it should nevertheless not be called Jewel Beetle, since this name is reserved for Buprestidae. It is actually a Darkling Beetle, Tenebrionidae. Might be a Platydema sp., but I would need a picture without flash to confirm that or anyway to get closer than the family. Do you have additional pictures of it?
