Field Notes

Description:

The sun was able to reveal a few treats for the plant enthusiast by the afternoon. Which brings me to an important point, one should never go kicking up snow looking for plants, the snow provides an insulating layer that can protect delicate plants from the effects of the cold.

Habitat:

Appalachian mountains
