Field Notes

Description:

Beautiful and probabely dangerous snake! - Here in Brazil, we use to say "Vermelho com preto, amigo do peito" - It means somethind like "red with black, it's our best friend". But we can't take it serious when we are talking about coral snakes. 'False coral' can be looked so much as the 'real coral'.

Habitat:

Tropical Rainforest, 'Mata Atlântica biome'.

Notes:

It was found when we was cleaning the path of the farm. In the photo, it was immobilized by a wood stick, then we put it in a pot and we released it in a far place.
