Queen Vespula germanica. V. germanica (European wasp, German wasp, or German yellowjacket) is a species of social wasp found in much of the Northern Hemisphere, native to Europe, Northern Africa, and temperate Asia.

Habitat:

Urban park on the shores of a lake.
