Gum tree hopper
-37.9021, 145.205
Field Notes
Description:
Tiny tree hopper nymphs - about 5mm long. Although it might be the same species as some spotted before I haven't seen the striped thorax. The attendant ants are also a species never seen filling this role. They were also much smaller than most attendant ant species with the eucalyptus leaf hoppers.
Habitat:
On eucalyptus sapling in a local nature reserve.
Notes:
Yet to research these... banded abdomens are familiar but striped thorax not.
Eurymelinae ->?
