http://www.flickr.com/photos/28403062@N08/4367209106/lightbox/ This one is similar to yours and it is a Ctenuchinae of the Tiger Moths, Arctiidae (now Erebidae).
Since it is a Day Flying moth, it wants to look more wasp-like than moth-like.
