Description:

Balsamorhiza careyana is a wildflower in the family Asteraceae. Native to Washington and Oregon east of the Cascades.

Habitat:

Spotted near the Umianum Creek in Kittitas County, Washington State. Habitat is mostly Sagebrush steppe.
