Description:

This red-and-black bug, also known as Minstrel bug, is a species of shield bug in the family Pentatomidae. It measures about 1cm, and possess a large shield. It is longitudinally striped red and black, with predominantly black head and antennae. The ventral side is bright red with black spots.

Habitat:

Seen in garrigue, in colony, feeding on some Apiaceae.
