Description:
This Commensal Shrimp is very tiny, around 7-8 mm in size and slender.
And they are so well camouflaged among the Stinging Hydroid (Aglaophenia cupressina) they lives in, even taking on light/white patches on its back, which is similar to the top of the Hydroid as shown Pics#3 & 4, which also shows how tiny they are.
This particular Shrimp is also carrying a Parasite, the swollen bulge on the left of its face (seen in Pic#1 & #2).
Habitat:
Tropical reefs, among Stinging Hydroid
