Field Notes

Description:

Found a lot of these skeleton shrimp on the side of the boat when we took it out of the water before spraying it down. Seen with these: http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/1904026002

Habitat:

After only 2-3 weeks, the algae on our boat had grown up enough to host these critters. The boat was in a saltwater mooring

Interesting animal, love to see them during dives. Caprellidae - Skeleton Shrimps There are over 80 known species of them under 3 sub-family of Caprellinae, Paracercopinae and Phtisicinae. And probably a few more unknown species. Will be a challenge to get the ID :D
