Field Notes

Description:

Probably Gyponana gladia, but I can't tell. According to bugguide, "the only way for a definitive ID is through analyses of male genitalia as variation does occur in color and wing reticulation among gladia and octolineata."

Habitat:

Suburban yard

Notes:

I didn't have my camera on me so I apologize for the unfocused phone pictures

Species ID Suggestions

Thanks! That looks like a good match. I'll compare with other species and update my ID
I would say either Gyponana gladia or Gyponana octolineata. I'm leaning more towards G. gladia. https://bugguide.net/node/view/18672 https://bugguide.net/node/view/243231
