Field Notes

Description:

Large black cockatoo with yellow tail panels, yellow ear patch and pale edges to feathers. Male - eye ring pink and bill dark grey. Female - eye ring grey, bill whitish, yellow edges to breast feathers, freckling in tail panels.

Habitat:

Woodland and forests of South Eastern Australia

Notes:

These guys were welcome visitors to my yard one early morning. There was a flock of about 10.
