Description:
Tiny Orange Mushrooms: I was walking in my front yard, and I saw a group of tiny orange mushrooms, growing on the grass. The caps were about three sixteenth of an inch wide. The color of the caps, was medium and dark orange. Some of the caps, had some areas of light orange on them. Underneath the caps, was the gills. The gills were striated and wavy. The color underneath the cap, was light orange. The color of the stems, was white. The stems, was about two inches long. Kingdom: Fungi
Habitat:
These tiny orange mushrooms, were growing in my front yard, on the grass. Mushrooms, live all over the place. On forest floors and on trees, on fields or on manure piles, and on lawns and gardens. Anywhere, mushrooms can find nutrients and moisture.
