Description:

A deciduous tree with dissected leaves (3 main lobes). Flower whitish, rather large, blooming with leaves. Fruits edible, apple-like rather small, but larger than hawthorn fruits.

Habitat:

Mediterranean mountain forest

Notes:

endangered and protected in Israel
