Habitat:

8500'-9000' elevation in a pine forest in Pinaleno Mts, Southeast AZ. Growing near a small stream.

Notes:

Possibly Russula? The Sickener?

Machi
Could be one of the Russulas. hard to tell without seeing photos of the underside. However, seeing the lines of the gills through the cap and the color both do point to that being a strong possibility.
