Field Notes

Description:

this helianthus has two heads! the comm0n sunflower has only one head
this one happens to be seven feet tall and growing with other helianthuses
as the one on the right

Habitat:

North American in dry, open areas with dry, disturbed clay or heavy sand.
the same for European soil. sunflower in the 1700S the sunflower spread across Europe and into Russia, Ukraine where they are used for oil.

Notes:

Me I just enjoy growing them first planting the seed in a pot and then water
let them grown four feet and then planting them in the back yard.
