Field Notes

Description:

Small spider (1cm approximately), brilliant orange, ochre & white striping, black fine lined legs with multiple long hairs, elongated body, black face stripes, ochre coloured legs, nestled over nest of crisp white woven web structure (flat).

Habitat:

Found throughout eastern Australia. This one found on Eucalyptus leaf in dry woodland environment in north east NSW.

Thank you so much for your suggestions DanielePralong & Paul Davis! Very quick! I feel like I've been a bit lazy on this one! Will check that site. This spider was incredibly beautiful & quite interested in being photographed but was not at all aggressive.
