Field Notes

Description:

Small green caterpillar. Faint lateral striping. Brownish banding between segments. Slight flare to body segments in the middle. Possibly the same species (different color variation) as this spotting: http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/189446133

Habitat:

Bayard Cutting Arboretum. Semi-wooded area near a brackish water source. Found in the flower of a Common Evening Primrose (Oenothera biennis).
