Habitat:

I saw a few turtles. One was on the trail trying to lay her eggs in the gravel.

Notes:

They typically live between 20 and 30 years, although some individuals have lived for more than 40 years. The red-eared slider is included in the list of the world's 100 most invasive species but is native here.
