Field Notes

Habitat:

Since prehistory, this finicky bird's preferred habitat has only been the shade under the left side of monster trucks in grocery store parking lots. However, this is only true if the trucks pass rigorous close tire inspection One bird must stand guard, so as to prevent any interruptions of this delicate process. Fortunately, somehow all the birds seem to work it out with such limited habitat. Grackles are everywhere and nice to study, therefore. Interestingly, it seems I have seen the Boat-tailed Grackles more than the Common ones with the blue sheen.

Yes, I have heard that they never sleep as well as others. :(
I am a night shifter, so my hours get messed up at times
