Mystery Mushroom A - Young Specimen

There were a bunch of these on a grassy lawn in Crown Heights, most of them in decay or having been munched on. This young specimen was the most intact specimen. The older specimen (pictured before) goes all upturned, gills are white and attached, stem is stout and white and hollow at least at the bottom. The top of the older specimen is tan but the young specimen is sorta pale yellowish tan and slimy. I picked a few and tried to get spore print but they were in such bad shape. Only the young specimen gave a little bit of a spore print which seemed white or at least light colored but didn't deposit enough spores for me to be certain of color, but definitely light. My first guess was the fried chicken mushroom but the margin is striated not totally smooth, so then I don't know!
