Field Notes

Description:

This tree has no flowers, but there are fruits. The fruits were green, there was one open that was yellow. There was also one that was black, that was open. The texture of the fruits were dry and rough. There were about the size of a fist. The leaf had a lanceolate shape, was 38.5cm in length, and 12.5cm in width. The leaves had an entire (even, smooth throughout) margin. The leaf venation was alternating netted pinnate. The leaf arrangement is subopposite. The leaves had no hairs, and the texture was waxy and leathery. There was also another characteristic, the leaves had a drip tip. The bark texture was rough, and the roots were standard.

Secondary rainforest

Notes:

There were also multiple trunks, and the fruit was growing from the trunk.
