Description:
Big loud bird. Large, glossy black, heavy deep orange beak, with yellow tip. Orange wattles on ear and nape. White wing- patch.
Habitat:
Near the MRT in an old untouched Jungle area. Near Reservoir. Yishun, Singapore.
Notes:
I heard them first and after a while I spotted two of these Hill Minah's screeching at each other! They sounded young. Singapore has many many White vented Minah's and Common Minah's but I have never seen / heard these before.
