Description:

Also known as the black bustard, this species of bird is endemic to South Africa. They eat insects, small reptiles and plant material, foraging on the ground. The females care for the chicks, after laying 1 or 2 eggs on the ground.

Habitat:

Etosha National Park

Notes:

The first two photos are of the male and the third of the female.
