Field Notes

Description:

This was a flower I found the SAS rainforest. With a spectrum of colors from red to yellow. It had a waxy texture. This is an up close photo I took of part of the petal and the insides.

Habitat:

A warm humid climate. It was in a location were it was exposed to lots of sunlight.

Cool! To help with ID you should also take the picture of the pant and the flowers as a whole. I think that this is a common shrub that is planted to be pretty. Sometimes it spreads to the forest, too.
