Description:

Leopard Frog?

Habitat:

In the water near a dock going out a little way into a fresh water lake (Lake Emma) where gloating cattails beds, reeds and lily pads grow profusely..maybe 10-12 feet from shore, in a mud bottom lake

Notes:

We find these (or very similar) frogs hopping along the mowed (Lake Emma) trail, past the dock, where in wet years the path is sloshy or muddy beneath your feet but also in the lake near shore resting on lily pads or on the semi-firm area the (floating) reeds grow out of
