I don't think this is an Autochton sp. (according to bugguide A. cellus is the only species whose range extends north of Mexico into Arizona.) I'm almost certain this is either a Dorantes Longtail Skipper (Urbanus dorantes) or a Long-tailed Skipper (Urbanus proteus) that has lost its tail.
