Field Notes

Description:

Like the name implies, this vulture is primarily black. Very large. Kind of scary looking. Hey, as long as they keep the roads clear of animal carcasses...

Habitat:

Found further south than the turkey vulture.

Notes:

Tends to flap its wings more frequently than the turkey vultures.

The second picture has both Turkey Vultures and Black Vultures.
