Field Notes

Description:

The body has patches of yellow scales. The head is extended to form a long cylindrical snout with mandibles at the tip. Antennae are elbowed and attached to the snout near the end. Legs have sharp claws with a strong tooth on the inner edge of each femur.

Habitat:

Found roadside on a shrub.

Notes:

Norwegian name: Gransnutebille
