Field Notes

Description:

Rust-colored bracket fungus growing on a fallen white tree. The pores are fine and velvety.

Habitat:

Seen in a shady swamp with plenty of mangroves in Everglades National Park.

Notes:

Possibly Fuscoporia gilva?
