Field Notes

Description:

Small-sized bird (smaller than a sparrow) with gray-ish back and black cap on head and white belly.

Habitat:

Deciduous woods near red pine forest

Notes:

This little guy was waiting for me to fill the feeder. The chickadees have gotten quite used to me this year and will often land on the feeder before I've finished handing it back up after filling it. This one was hanging out by my feet.
