It is a two coloured (yellow-red) flower which mostly grows in gardnens. Known as agnishikhe("ಅಗ್ನಿಶಿಖೆ" ) in kannada.

Grows mostly in gardens

Notes:

A postal stamp is also released by indian postal department on this flower
