Description:

Slightly smaller than House sparrow, it is often confused with this species. Differentiated from House sparrow by brown crown (not grey), pure white face and black spot on cheeks, and smaller black bib - it never expands to chest.

Habitat:

Urban setting in a busy road town.

Notes:

Funny thing is that this sparrow is common in the area where I live, but I never had a chance to shot a clean photo of it (and not for lack of trying); I had to travel all the way to Nepal to get these...
