Description:
The books say it is black but with the sun shining on it...to my eyes it looks a very, very deep blue. With cream coloured horizontal markings on wings.
Habitat:
Spotted in my garden.
Notes:
Called Batasi in Bangla Literally meaning Airy ( Batas = Air/Breeze)
It floats effortlessly may be that is why it has got the names Airy and Sailor.
