Field Notes

Description:

Bushy crest and long, thick, dark bill. It has a long, dark tail, a dark head and back, and is blue on the front of the neck and on the belly. Brown, white, black colors throughout.

Habitat:

This road runner lives at Cameron Park, Waco, Texas. He isn't a caged road runner but runs wild near the road runner enclosure. He seemed very concerned about the road runner in the enclosure.
